Hi David,
I suppose this is obvious but make sure your surveyor is able to be certain
there are no issues with wet or delaminated balsa core in the hull and
deck. I don't have the 1989 laminate schedule but the
1990 laminate schedule for the 37+ for both hull and deck shows 1" of balsa

If the NADA boat book works like the NADA car books, which I presume is
likely, the "suggested List" is a representation of the MSRP of the boat
when new, with average equipment. What constituted average equipment would
vary by car model - eg. High end models might include things like power

My 1990 37+ with new radar chartplotter, 6 T105's, 6K inverter, New Awlgrip,
etc. It sold for 74K. Would I buy another one. No way. backstay chainplate
failure, water pools in multiple locations instead of draining to a central low

Hello all.
Don't know if anyone is in the market or not, but since I have decided to sell
my boat (35 Landfall in Halifax), I have a few items I will be putting up for
sale.
The first is a Michigan Sailer Two blade prop, 16"X13" RH, with a 1" taper bore.
The prop is in fantastic condition, no din
Based on putting a well worn 89 under contract (that failed the sea trial) and
then purchasing the pristine Alera I think that the boat you are describing
should be priced out at around 80-82k. But I'm no broker.
The things that would cause me a great dal of concern is that any intrusion
