your best primer”
I did mine in 2018, did what you said as far as sanding and such, and gave it a
good coat rolled and tipped. Well, not exactly. I was rolling it on with a 4”
roller, and it was taking too long, a
I had my mast professionally rebuilt. They sandblasted, primed, and
painted. While it was out of the boat and all the fittings were removed, I
had them re-bed everything and rewire. I also had a full re-rig with new
rod. They used Awlcraft 2000 Pearl Grey. The paint job ALONE was $3k.
