Upon launch one Spring, I started the engine and there was no water
coming out of the exhaust. After much searching , discovered the top of
the raw water strainer was not tightened sufficiently and air was
leaking in. I always empty the strainer bowl of water before winter lay

take the hose off the through hull and open the valve, making sure you get good
flow.
Check the gasket on the strainer and make sure it's tightened evenly to make
sure you’re not getting air from there.
