I will consider myself lucky if I am able to launch this season. With the
restrictions we have here in NS i am not sure how i could get my boat
ready. I know things with covid change daily but seems we are still
increasing here. Sailing is a social thing and here mid June thru Sept is
great. We are

I would be calling them today and explaining marinas in Maryland are NOT
CLOSED to boat owners. Also would be the last time my boat was ever in
that place. I am grateful to be in the water and operational, I can
leave at will. I think my marina would be too afraid to not get any more
slip fees
Easy everyone!
This is a hugely frustrating experience for all. Banning people from marinas
only lasted about a day in Maryland, see my previous post about the
clarification from the governor’s office. My marina never even tried, with
about 20 live-aboards and no physical way to prevent it there

Chuck, don't mean to be argumentative but the boat is not on 'your
property'.move it to your property and problem solved. There is no
normal and only the virus knows when there will be a semblance of it.

Not sure if any owners were on their boats. Everyone looked like grubby yard

Thankfully the govenor hasen't gone totally bonkers. Here on Puget sound, they
have yet to close any marina, although they did close the marine state park
docks to overnight moorage. Our YC did cancel all activities until at least
may. Doug Mountjoysv Rebecca Leah C&C Landfall 39Port Orchard yac
FWIW, I just got turned away from working on my boat in Pasadena, Md. Seems
they misinterpreted the governor's directive and closed the yard to everybody
but their own workers. I was allowed ten minutes to check my tarp and stands,
and get out. In a boatyard w 200 plus boats that are spread o
Yesterday afternoon Colorado’s Governor issued a state-wide stay-at-home order.
This followed numerous county-level and municipal-level stay-at-home orders,
and decisions by Colorado Parks and Wildlife to close offices etc.
Fortunately for me, the state parks are still open, and the stay-at-hom
