I have a 350ml bottle of 10 year old Macallan. Even the relatively “young”
Scotch is excellent stuff – almost as good a Jura or Glenmorangie IMHO.
The small bottle of 10 year old wasn’t much more than $25 or so, so it is not
as Pricey as the 30 year old.

Scotch story! I was in a pub on the island of Mull, Tobermory, West coast of Scotland in the early '70's.Lunch time ; me and the barman are the only people in there. Guy comes in and asks for a particular scotch. There must be 100 different whiskeys on the shelf. Barman says (in a Scottish accent)
