Scotch story!  I was in a pub on the island of Mull, Tobermory, West coast of Scotland in the early '70's. Lunch time ; me and the barman are the only people in there.  Guy comes in and asks for a particular scotch.  There must be 100 different whiskeys on the shelf. Barman says (in a Scottish accent) not sure I've got that, let me check in the other bar. While he's away, I ask the guy if he can tell the difference! ( note I'm a lot younger then and not a whisky drinker) Sure the first one or two - after that they all taste the same!
