I use them on my c&c 35 mk 1 without any complaint. I have raced on other
boats with Harken and they work great. The question as always is price.

I used Garhauer because Guido adapted the cars to the old track on my C&C
34. The cars were sufficiently robust

Garhauer changed their car design to plastic slides instead of ball bearings.
The reason given was that too many people were loosing the balls when
installing them. They will supply the ball bearing ones if requested. They

If budget limited, Garhauer. If not, Harken.
Whatever brand you get, get ball bearing cars and at least a 4:1 purchase.

I think ours were installed at the factory when the boat was built.
Harken They work great, I can move the cars to adjust the sail to the tell
tails even when the genoa is loaded up.
