Yes, I did it 2-3 years ago on my Edson 335 , no specific issues except to make sure the roller bearings and chain links  grease have no chance to contaminate the brake pad lining. I think the big issue was putting the cotter pin . make sure you have 1  ( or better 2 ) layers of rags under the s
