90% of the time, overheating on a yanmar is due to restriction in the exhaust where the water get injected after the manifold. Usually it connects to a rubber bellows/hose that can be easily taken out. Then poke into the exhaust with a large screwdriver and see if you see flakes of carbon Ahmet Win

When tabasco (c&c25 with an outboard) is on the dock, there is absolutely no water coming in. When I am out, even motoring, I get some water in, maybe 2 quarts an hour, even in calm seas. I am in the process of replacing some rusty keel washers, but the nuts seem to be tight and I have no "smile".

It depends on your preferences. If you don't want to loose performance then the Dutchman is the way to go. However you will have to deal with the sail cover. The Mack Pack requires a loose footed sail, and is easier to implement. It does not require modifications or anything sawn to your sail. The
