Good News: It is called Davis No Spill
Bad News: Web search shows it as discontinued on Amazon & Fisheries Supply
If anyone finds it a link would probably be appreciated.

Thanks everyone for supporting this list with your contributions.
We have a container that looks like a rectangular bottle which suction mounts
to the side of the boat over the vent. It catches little dribbles if one is not
too attentive to the gurgle. After tidying up, you remove he screw cap and put
the dribbles into the fill. Works pretty well. It is requi
"kinked". Try twisting
the hose 1 turn in either direction with a quntity of water in the box. You'll
know pretty quickly if you get it freed.

Great site with tutorials and many options www.batterystuff.com .
I have purchased several systems for other purposes there. You may need to
isolate separate battery banks.

From: Della Barba,
I am sure this has been on the list before, but I cannot find it.
The wire to rope halyards on my 26 are done. I think I should go to all
rope.

Does anyone know a good source for replacement sheaves ?

In looking on the CNC Photo Page for an engine manual, I see the diesels all
lumped together. I crawled into the tiny engine compartment, no small feat
for a rather large belly, to find "Yanmar SB8" on the engine label. Is this
the same as the 1GM listed ?

My C&C 26 with a single cylinder diesel ( SB 8? I think) has only a thru
hull and sea cock, then a hose to the pump. The boat came from Lake George
in upstate NY, a pristine fresh water lake that you can drink from. I think
I should have some sort of strainer between the thru hull and the pump now
I have a 26 and would like to add a furling head sail. I would love to hear
any suggestions for a small boat ?

My club is in the Hudson River about 75 miles north of the Big Apple. We
have tidal currents that approach 1 1/2 - 2 knots at times from either
direction, with wind it can be very tricky getting into your slip. When the
current is running out of your slip, going in gently and controlled is easy.

t the tiller is so much more responsive and tactile. I looked at another
26 before buying this one, and passed it up because of the wheel.
You can email me off list with a list of dimensions or views you'd like and
I will do my best to get them for you.

I have a 26 with a single cylinder SB8 that is not able to push the boat to
hull speed easily in wind and chop. Has anyone specs on what prop should be
on the boat, and any possible upgrades. The current prop is a 2 blade fixed,
unsure of the specs. I cruise more than race, and seem to wind up mot
