You might consider giving this a try. If it works through the rest of the
season then you might avoid the trouble of replacing the tank. I tried it
on a new beckson port i put on my holding tank. I can't speak for the
strength of the bond but i can tell you that the tank doesn't leak.

PO did it so i don't know what considerations were in play. You mentioned
