Did you have a survey done prior to purchase? The rudder could have
moisture instrusion which is pushing rust stains out the rudder stock. Or
it could just be the stock rusting a bit. Stainless steel will rust,
specifically in the absence of oxygen (like deap inside a rudder while
under water).

of removing that hose. I think I would still use the threaded part of the
U-elbow and step it up to black pipe and direct it to the muffler. 1 1/2" is

No otter, but we also have mink at our club. They come on the dock only to
catch fish, not to poop. Also have a blue heron fishing on the dock (Henry as
we call him, or her, or whatever). We like him better on the dock than the
masthead.
