Even though I love my boat if someone offered me 44 k I'd think seriously
about selling. I don't think I could get more than 35 for her. I hope the
owner gets his price!

Talk to Holland Marine or Southshore Yachts, they might be able to help. Sam :-)

Anyone we know? It's hard to tell based on the specs whether this is a bare
hull, or the quick to sell model with ST60's...

Calypso was built at Bruckmann's and was launched January 1970. The plate in
the cockpit does not show any trace of a number from the front but I will check
the back when I pull it off to paint.
Calypso's original transom was modified in 1974 (for better IOR rating) and a
number from RI was mo
It's on the plate. It may have the format YY M XX or YY M XXX where YY is the
last 2 digits of the build year, M is a letter that designates the month and XX
or XXX is the 2 or 3 digit hull number. For instance 71 N 69. You might try
to remove the plate and see if you can read the indentation

If it was built prior to 1972 it may not have a HIN stamped in the upper
left hand corner of the transom as HIN's were not required by the USCG until
1972.

As a former Catalina 30 owner it was interesting to observe that the spread
between a bare hull and a nicely outfitted one is very small. As there are
so many, the market seems to dictate a price. As the broker said when I was
selling--all the goodies won't get you any more money, they just mean yo
I have recently bought an old C&C 25 Redline. I cannot find the Hull or Hin

almost unreadable plate at the centre of the transom stating that the boat had
been built by Bruckman Manufacturing of Oakville Ontario. I ha

that sold in two weeks. I think I praised the boat and the previous owner.

calculated it) covered the sails, the motor and the barrier paint. The hull,
mast and rigging and all additional equipment were all thrown in for free
