I would like to comment on two open questions:
- If a VM is created as a linked clone, there is no need to make it
non-linked clone afterwards (or vice-versa)
- similarly, if upgrading from 4.0 to 4.1, VMs created in 4.0 (linked
clones) dont need to be allowed to become non-linked c
Pranav = Yeah, good idea...I hooked my MacBook up via cable to the network
and disabled the wireless, but it didn't work. :( I did get an IP address
and could access web sites on the Internet, but Tomcat was not running.
Marcus = What is the difference between the Agent and the Management
Server?
The agent is what runs on KVM hosts to carry out requests from the management
server(s). The management server is the cloud-management service which
oversees all the stuff CloudStack does.

Just heard back from a friend of mine. He said he had Windows as his host
OS, was running Ubuntu in a VM under VirtualBox and had the same issue as I
had (NAT worked; bridged didn't).

So, it looks like DevCloud just uses NAT with port forwarding.

agreed that the code needed to be merged into the master branch (and

progress" and in " open " status.
Reopen can be considered for review before pushing as it may need minor update
for the already completed feature. But if it require considerable changes, may
be that can be pushed as well.
