a peak of about 300 messages per minute. We've had no problems with this
config in the 0.87 and 0.88 series of clamav.

assuming) the compiling of clamd/freshclam. But this Google reference was
talking about version 0.88.1.
Never had a problem with clamav on various Linux distros until now. Could

through in large quantities. I can stop it elsewhere, but would rather have
ClamAV handle it like it should.

Upgrading didn't seem to help me, though maybe it slowed down the

I've had clamd (0.73) die silently on me twice this morning on two
separate systems each (total 4 deaths), one Soalris 2.8 the other
Solaris 2.6. Has someone managed to figure out how to shut it down
