Check your clamd.conf file- is there a user specified? Make sure that user
exists. Make sure that user has the appropriate rights to the any
directories specified in the clamd.conf file.

Hello everyone,
I have a little problem and I hope you guys can help me. When I use the
command freshclam, clamav says that libclamav has not the good rights. My
question about this, how can I give libclamav the right permissions?

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could tell me how stable the port from
http://www.fatbsd.com/openbsd/ for OpenBSD 3.4 is.
Is it safe to use it in production?

Hi,
Clamscan
doesn’t rely on clamd, it’s just a standalone client.
To
access clamd you’ll have to connect by TCP or socket.
You
can lookup in your logs how many virus signatures you’ve available, or
just run a freshclam yourself, you’ll see it then as well.
Wouter
Does anybody have any ideas?
