I've read a few reports the last week about people on *BSD who are having stability problems with clamd (crashes for no reason), and I am one of them with OpenBSD.
A few people started to create solutions to restart clamd as soon as possible when clamd crashes, but that is off course not a solution, clamd shouldn't crash in the first place.
I was wondering if the ClamAV dev'ing team is actually looking at the cause of this problem, and are working on a new snapshot which fixes the problem.
I would be very happy if this problem could be fixed, and I am sure the ClamAV dev'ing team is capable to fix this, because they already did a great job.
I am not sure, but I think this stability problem started from the Augustus snapshots.
Thanks in advance, Wouter
