check your quarantine dir /clamquar and ensure it as well as any sub
directories have correct permissions.
Did it before. They're fine.
I would look in the clamd.conf file at specifically these settings:
LogFile /var/adm/clamd/clamd.log
TemporaryDirectory /tmp
Those are fine too. Any other ideas

In my logs I'm seeing messages like:
hit max-children limit (40 >= 40): waiting for some to exit
This occurs whether or not I specify --max-children=0 in the clamav-milter
command line or not. (normally not specified)

Are you using clamav-milter? If so, specify the "-n" option. It's
documented in the man page.
I think that takes care of the logs too, as I don't see them in mine.

We used to offer ASK here... until spammers started using spamcop's spamtrap
accounts in their return address.
Spamcop didn't care that the messages were confirmations request. They just
blacklisted us without notification.
