I've had this happen to us 5 times in the past 2 months. Currently running CVS version from jan 6. I've recently compiled it to show debug info, so that next time I can have some useful information (I might use gbd as suggested by trog in addition to the debug info). It did crash once when I was away so I don't have any of the debug information... perhaps I'll get "lucky" and it'll crash when I'm close by :) So far all I know is when clamd dies, only the parent process is still running... no child processes are seen us ps. Then of course clamav-milter isn't able to connect to clamd either. -Troy > > Cheers, > > Mike > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: Perforce Software. > Perforce is the Fast Software Configuration Management System offering > advanced branching capabilities and atomic changes on 50+ platforms. > Free Eval! http://www.perforce.com/perforce/loadprog.html > _______________________________________________ > Clamav-users mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/clamav-users > > > !DSPAM:40057555242021048515885! > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Perforce Software.
