I tried clamav-devel-20041105 (with clamav-milter version 0.80p)<snip>
and now everything seems to start OK, but it doesn't do anything...
It must be my server that is f***ed up, but if you can give me some pointers, I would be grateful.
I tested clamav-devel-20041105 on another server, and it works just fine...
I did a test to send a mail through it:I've been running clamav-milter version 0.80p this weekend. It died a few times too under load, dunno why. Similar mail.log messages as above. I also rolled back to a previous version of clamav-milter.
From /var/log/maillog:
Nov 5 12:49:57 rigel sendmail[17252]: iA5BjvCm017252: Milter (clmilter): timeout before data read
Nov 5 12:49:57 rigel sendmail[17252]: iA5BjvCm017252: Milter (clmilter): to error state
Nov 5 12:49:57 rigel sendmail[17252]: iA5BjvCm017252: Milter (clmilter): init failed to open
Nov 5 12:49:57 rigel sendmail[17252]: iA5BjvCm017252: Milter (clmilter): to error state
again, I rolled back to 0.80j, and it works just great. But - Boo-Hoo! I wanna be bleeding edge! :)
When clamav-milter konks out is seem that the parent process is still running. I realize this isn't much information, sorry. Tell me what I can do to get more information and I'll do it.
In the interim, is there a clamav-milter watch, similar to clamdwatch?
-Troy
