b) I guess ldb files are tough to create automatically. If
I've been using Clamav for years on Solaris UFS and ZFS file systems.
No problems noted.

certain OS it "supports" any file system that OS supports, if you can
mount it ClamAV can scan it. And it does run on Solaris.

ClamAV does not currently support scanning file-backed UFS containers. The
closest thing that it does support is ISO files.
If you can mount the UFS container, ClamAV can scan the mountpoint.
