Grab the .src.rpm and do:
rpmbuild --rebuild
Then you will have a clamav RPM build for your system in
/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/i386/

Is sendmail-devel rpm installed?

I'm trying to install clamav .74 on an ensim box for use with sendmail.
I do the following from the clamav-0.74 directory as a regular user.
1) ./configure --sysconfdir=/etc/clamav --enable-milter
2) make
3) su -c "make install"
everything gets installed except clamav-milter.

As far as I know, the configuration should be correct, since it worked
before the upgrade. However, I don't see any logging for my test
messages after the upgrade. The headers of the messages I received with
the test attachments do not contain an X-Scan-Signature header.

Hey Guys,
Thanks a lot for all the help. I'm kind of running into a brain freeze
here (not enough coffee). I've deinstalled, and then re-installed
clamav. Everything looks fine, the right processes are started. Is
there a manual way of testing whether or not clamd and freshclam are
working? I
Hi there,
I've recently deployed a clam-based setup which is running well, except
the logs are occasionally peppered with lines along the following:
2004-07-06 11:18:48 1Bhn2G-000OAI-5c malware acl condition: clamd:
ClamAV returned
/local/services/exim/scan/1Bhn2G-000OAI-5c/1Bhn2G-000OAI-5c-2
Hi there,
I'm using ClamWin devel-20040517 and I would like to know if there's a
way to keep that executable updated in an appropiate manner (an URL to
download more recent versions, etc).
Thank you in advance,
JC
