Is the implementation of this radio planned? Many thanks in advance.

Markus,
Show under Device Manager the Driver for this device.
See info here. http://www.miklor.com/COM/UV_Drivers.php
It will tell you everything you need to do to get your cable working.
But first just make sure that you press the cable end with the two pins
very firmly into the microphone so
You can request this model on this page:
https://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/issues?query_id=15
If you can loan your radio to a developer, it will probably make the
biggest difference in getting this model done.

Why does it say this on the Miklor page? I've gotten CH340 to work just

Correct. Prolific Driver will not work with CH340 cable.
You need to select the correct model of radio.

It says that because it's not a Prolific driver.
It was my error, he was telling us clearly it was CH40 driver and I was not
familiar with that driver.

The CH340 driver works. KG-UV2D isn't an option for Wouxon model. The

Because the programming cable is manufactured with a USB-to-Serial
chip that, when used with a compatible device driver, creates a
virtual COM port. This is necessary because virtually all radios
programmed by CHIRP use serial communications and it
What about the radio model isn't in the software?

Dan,
Does this take care of the issue with the IC 92AD not seeing the edges and

So I got a D-Star, YSF, and am looking to purchase a DMR.
None of the two radios in those modes that I have are supported under
Chirp. Just wondering if the same is true of any DMR before I buy one

Jim,
The most recent version reset everything to "Low", so thanks for the tip.
Along the same lines, it set everything to display the name instead of
the frequency. Is there a way that we can default to frequency?
Thanks in advance,
Emilio
