Since DEC hasn't made anything in decades, all DEC items are decades old.
So what's the problem? Do you hate just DEC items, or everything that old?

If you are running a BA11-M box (3 1/2 inches tall), make sure the 2 fans
are running up to speed. They slow as the fans go bad and can cause all
kinds of H780 power supply and logic problems. When you shut the box the
fans should spin for a few seconds. If they stop within a second, change it.

Hi Jos,
True, but I don't talk about information that may still classified. If it's
already in the media, it's fair game.

I started this with good intentions, and I thought the post was on topic. I
did not want to start any
political arguments, or any arguments for that matter. In my opinion, the
intelligence community

I remember the VT72 had a non-standard backplane in it, but I don't
remember the details.

I have a stack of them here if you need them. I think they are $175 each,
$150
each for 2 or more, + $12.50 shipping for any qty.

I have several, but can only get to a few RS232 readers. If you are
interested
I'll try to get the model numbers later this week.
I also have several REMEX interfaces probably Unibus, possibly a Omnibus.

I would be interested in a few dozen of the cabinet feet and maybe 18 for
the stabilizer feet.
I seem to recall looking at a few of the stabilizer feet a few months ago
and noticing there were a few different versions. I will try to find my
cabinet handbook and see what it says, and supply DEC par

Hi Jon,
I'm hopefully building a few Unibus systems later this rear. I have several
10 and maybe a 15 foot cables, but I never thought about needing anything
longer. In a 4 rack system that becomes a real possibility. You better let
me know what you want for it...
Thanks, Paul

We used to get quarterly or so updates, and I have hundreds to sort through
at some point. I hate to break up a complete set too, but these are just

They range from a few PDP-8 boards, to Q-bus. Unibus, to VAX.
