Hi All
There is a very nice looking HP 9845 with peripherals and documentation
for sale in Sweden, on ebay owned auction-site Tradera:

The system was previously on "blocket", which is more like craigslist,

Ok, I went into our storage and made some pics:

OK that is helpful! I can look though the box and have something to

Hi everyone,
does anyone of you happen to know if the i8049 MCUs inside HP85
expansion modules 82937 (HPIB) & 82939 (RS232) have ever been dumped?
The HP part numbers for these masked ROM devices should be 1820-2437 and
1820-2438, respectively.
I'm asking because I'm working on the MAME emulation

Ug... no. There are not 3 different keys used. And for the record, the 1000M
and 1000E/F are *ALL* 21MX's, at least in the end. They are also all

Hi all,
The EMI filter in my PDP-11 (11/23+) chassis has failed and appears to
be a dead short. I've had a browse on the web but thought I would ask
here if anyone knows of a fitting replacement?
It's a Corcom F2932C, 5A at 250V. The small IEC sockets with built in 5A
EMI filter was my first thou
Dude just pulled 2 truckloads of early Apple and 386/486 computers and
keyboards out of storage and is scrapping them. I REALLY need somebody there
to sort the good from the trash. Can anybody help? He gave me one week to
come up with someone to scrounge, then it all goes for scrap.

If all else fails, a pair of wires will do. You don't actually need an EMI
filter for the thing to work. But it's good to have one to keep EMI within
factory specs. So I'd classify these devices as "optional but desirable".

I did think this - if I can't find something that will fit, I'll pretend
it didn't happen and just remove it. Good to hear some validation,
still.
Thanks!
Aaron.

Well, that explains one of my mystery keys on my keychain... I used to work
with HP 1000 systems.
I still have one of the HP 264x 'keys' which opened up the terminal.

Some manufacturers (Schlage) stamp the cuts on the key.

Wow, looking almost new! I didn't know you could interface a 9845 with a 7970
tape drive.

Mike,
That makes two of us. I am interested too, I have the same key setup on my 21MX
and have been looking for the key for a long time! So if someone can make it, I
am interested!

Thanks for the link Fred. $10 for the key - worth a try. I'll get it and report
