Since DEC hasn't made anything in decades, all DEC items are decades old.
So what's the problem? Do you hate just DEC items, or everything that old?

I think most people here would disagree with you. How many people would
scrap a KI10, 11/20, PDP8 or any piece of classic computer equipment if it

I usually discuss this with the potential buyer.

I know someone out west who makes boards for DEC systems. If you want ,
I'll look for his contact info this weekend.

Hi Doug,
If you are going to VCFMW, I can bring you a DEC M8044 for $25. Need
anything else?
Thanks, Paul
RAF Chicksands, and to Ops building probably couldn't withstand anything
bigger than a AK 47 or M16 hit.
The RAF commander couldn't ever get into our building. I think he was in
charge of grounds keeping, Etc.
USAFSS , before they changed the command name = NSA.

We had a DG ROLM at my last base. Not Navy, but USAF. I don't remember
which model, but it was a pretty reliable system. I have ideas, but not
sure why we needed a ruggedised computer next to a potato field.

If anybody wants any DEC items brought up there for pickup or to do any
trading, please let me know so I can plan accordingly.
If you want to stop by here, please make arrangements ASAP. I plan on
going up Friday afternoon and returning Saturday evening.
Thanks, Paul
Hi Jonathan,
If you are looking for someone to make the boards, I know someone in CA.
I'll try to dig up his contact info this weekend.

I have a bunch of Sunstrand and other NC/CNC boards here, but I thing they
were labeled as Sunstrand. I don't remember ever seeing that one, and not
sure if I have any for an 8. Most of the ones I have are Unibus.

I think you could change heads in a TU10 and add or take out a few boards.
I've worked on 7 and 9 track versions in the day.

the cables are known to bad fairly often. Get a known good cable to test
them..

If anyone going to VCFMW needs any (mosyly) DEC items dropped off there
please let me know so I can plan ahead. Trades are sometimes workable for
other DEC equipment, even more so for US and foreign coins and currency.
I plan on arriving Friday afternoon and returning Saturday night.

If anyone from the UK is coming over to VCFMW and would be willing to bring
me some nice crisp uncirculated currency I will be happy to trade you for
US currency or DEC computer items. I can make up a list over the next few
days. I don't know when the new 50 is coming out, and I'm also interested

I have a ton of DEC boards that I will probably never use. I sell off what
I can, when I can, but have large quantities of some and no need for them.
I have to do something and I like recycling cans and plastic, but not
computer parts. If anyone can use these or any other DEC board, feel free

I was thinking of going over for a visit, but try to fly into Luton and
save a lot of travel. If I want to go to London, take the train.

I have US half dollar coins (JFK) trom 2017, and maybe later they were in
proof sets, unc sets, and banks should have them for general circulation.

The banks I go to usually have a pretty good selection. Every once in a
while I'll get a surprise from a teller who has been saving something
special for me for a few days. If asked nicely, some tellers will watch for
things for you.

If the note is in good condition, I'll buy it from you. I've been
collecting US coins on and off for years, and started on GB coinage when I
lived over there. Now I collect about everything, including currency, AND
WILL TRADE COMPUTER ITEMS FOR COINS AND CURRENCY!

interested, please contact me off list.\
