I haven't uploaded the iso yet. I'll change it and then upload. I can
probably get to this tonight. Has anyone tried using a ~/.mime.types file

I think creating a ~/.mime.types file is certainly a better approach than
editing /etc/mime.types.
But we need somebody to test this out. Maybe we can ask Keith to do so,

I noticed that Han-Wen had a patchset uploaded to rietveld that had a
failure with a .ps file.
Can we add a line to /etc/mime.types that covers ps files too?

The launcher is best, definitely. I didn't know how to make a url launcher.
I think it'd be best only to have one launcher for quickstart chapter.

Why not use an actual launcher? right click->add launcher->location. Type
in "lilypond.org". Double-clicking the icon will bring up a web browser
pointing to lilypond.org.

I figured out how to change firefox default startup page for new users.
Will change it to web CG. I think this is more elegant than the script I
put on desktop before.
