I think there is a setting which allows installation of unsigned .inf
files, you may have to turn on the for developers setting or find the
registry key to have this work.

Current folder. E.g. the folder where I was when running the brltty
command.

Isn't it temp (not tmp) on Windows?

Have you upgraded to brltty-5.4 yet? Can you verify which platforms your Active
Brailel works with on via USB?
Can you connect it to a Linux system and, while it's connected, send me a copy
of your /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices file?
Hi, Dave, Felix and others!
Thank you so much for investigating into getting Active Braille
working with the Windows version of BRLTTY. I tried it some time ago,
but wasn't able to get it working.

Hello,
I'd like to remark that a driver supporting the new HID-frame based
protocol of Handytech Active Braille, also supporting the
"speak-on-touch" feature, is implemented in SBL 3.5.1 for quite a while
now. You may be able to construct an adaption to brltty by looking at

I know we have Active Braille users but we don't keep track of which users use
what. Hopefully at least one of them is reading this list right now.
Do you have a Linux system that you could test on?

I have a question for you:
We support two HID ways of communicating with HandyTech devices. You'll have
noticed that our USB definition for the Active Braille specifies what we refer
