Well the two Osprey offspring are flying daily, its a terrific site mom and
dad with kids in tow flying around
the neighbourhood .
September 8, 2012 from 1 pm to 5 pm there will be a free access to the
wetland, the Pickering Naturalist have
booked for the afternoon so

Sorry for the late post.
Yesterday, Nancy Smith and I birded Rockpoint PP and area with great
results.
Outside the park in the sod farms, great numbers of BB Plovers and Kildeer
but no sign of Buff Breasted.
On the shore within the park, was a very cooperative juvenile Rednecked
Phalarop
Long tailed and Parasitic Jaegers at the tip of Point Pelee seen by Alan
Wormington,Bill Lamond Kevin McLaughlin and Mike Tate.

Well the challenge was made. We have just had a half hour of jaeger viewing at
Van Wagner's. 1 ad. Long-tailed, 1 dark juv. and 1 questionable juv. That
several of us thought was a bit larger... Others thought another Long-tailed.

Yesterday, forty six enthusiastic and friendly birders came out to the islands
for a beautiful day. Weather conditions were perfect with sunny skies and very
little wind, temperatures around 30C. The group as a whole counted up 78

Today, the mudflats and waters off Scrivens was in sharp contrast to Saturday.
As far as I know, the Buff-Breasted Sandpiper that had been seen all week on
the mudflats and rocks off Scrivens was not seen today. There were a number of

Greetings: An hour in the wetland this morning was quite exciting -Once again
the wetland has proven to be "the" place to raise young. There are many
Moorhen, Black ducks, Wood ducks,Blue / Green-winged Teal, Sora and Virginia
