I have rebuilt from source twice and sure enough
certain things are not upgraded such as bcopy.

Bacula is a very good program to use for backup. I
use it at work for backup to disk. You can always
glance the manual at www.bacula.org.

download the source code - untar it - first comand =
./configure --client-only - second command = make &&

My name is Zakai and I have been on this list for a
month. I just bought a Lacie 500GB usb external
hardrive and it worked for a day. It has stopped
working and I am using Debian 3.1. Does anyone use
this type of hardrive for backup? How is it working
