error, it means that I can't use bacula, because it is not suitable for production nor normal use, maybe experimental. I am sorry about that, but it is not possible to use it, if it cannot give me backup files anyway. Hope, you are more lucky with using bacula! --ogee PS: I use bacula 1.

What on earth are you rambling about? Bacula is great, and covers all the typical (and more!) needs in a production enviroment! Bacula is, in my opinion, at this date the premiere solution for doing backups. I had thought so, but not know, because of problems, I have! One question to you Ogee

on whole backup file (volume?) if so, there is no way to backup when system is used and it is my suggestion from backup soft. I can't reboot to single user modes and do backup every day. ;-) Thanks to talking about that. I would like to find solution, if some exists. --ogee ---
