Hi,
does the file change at all? If so, you can just adjust the metadata
that Accurate uses to compare checksums. That is done in the fileset:
htt
you can
include external files anywhere in your configuration by putting an @ in

Hi,
purging "only" removes all jobs and files
file. You don't see it in the
filesystem anymore but it is still physically on the disk. And AFAIK the
space it is consuming isn't released until the last file handle
accessing it (in this case bacula) is closed. So it's nothing bacula
specific.

Hi,
I had a similar problem a while back. The thing with accurate backups
is, that only the client name and the fileset are used to identify
previous jobs. Here's the thread:
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=4DD3878
pen("/etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf", O_RDONLY) = 3
$
$ truss bacula-dir -t -c ./bacula-dir.conf 2>&1 | grep bacula-dir.conf
open("./bacula-dir.conf", O_RDONLY) = 3
Assuming the file you want to test is in your working directory, this
might be your prob
u just need to
add the -8 option to your mailcommand(s) in bacula-dir.conf.
