I'm
working my way through.
When I'm ready I will probably post a short note, and if our version of the
vchanger works well, then I will share it with the group, along with some
write up; but I've got to get it working first.
Thanks again,
Elie Azar

disk-1, even though it part of the changer. Have you seen disk-1 used in
similar situations.
Thanks you for your help,

Has anyone used an autochanger with multiple hard drives. Any help is

Hi,
I am implementing a Vchanger to backup a group of machines to two
central backup hosts. Here's some background information, and I have
attached the relevant part of various configuration files. I hope
someone could help resolve some of my problems.
At this point, I have created 2 changers,
y if there was room on a specific device, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Elie Azar

Hi,
We have a project where we need to backup client data coming across
multiple VLANS to a backup system with two backup hosts, each with 16
500GB hard drives.
I'm new to Bacula, and I'm not sure if we can use the AutoChanger
concept, without that hardware, to accomplish that. Something like
each client is backing up to.
I can go to the director's configuration file and look there, but it
gets old after a while; plus hosts may get reassigned.
I haven't found a console command to do that. I don't mind writing a
script to do some of the leg work.
Any help would be grea
