Lot's of thanks,Diogo Melo.
Have you tried to use the command "mt -f /dev/st0 erase" ? I think this will ensure that all data of the tape has been erased, including the eof marks.2006/4/12, Erik P. Olsen <

Try to mount an shared folder from your windows 2000 machine on your
Linux machine and use this it as the device for the storage.
I sugest you to use the smbmount command. If I'm not wrong, use the
syntax "smbmount //IP_to_your_win2k_machine/name_of_shared_folder
/local_folder_for_mountpoint -o
I don't use the GUI restoration method. Use the command "restore" form the console prompt. It's more stable and mature.2006/2/15, Vincent Jaussaud <

Just for Curiosity, what's the meaning of the name "Bacula" ? Is
this a kind of a bat? I've search the meaning of that word in google
and I've just found the Bacula software...
And how do we pronounce it? Is the strong syllable bacula, ba

Thanks!! :-)

I'm using te version 1.36.3 and when I try to do a full backup on
windows clients, I receive the advice that there aren't a suitable
backup so this job will be a upgrated to a full backup.
The clients are servers with windows NT and windows 2000 and
frequently the full jobs ends with some warning
I use the stable version 1.36.3
So that's it.. I should limit the size of each job and not setting 1 job per file...
Thanks a lot!
