Yes that fixed it...
I find it troublesome that the catalog values for the slot were changed to "0"
after a reboot. Anyone know how this could have happened.

Hi Ryan,
do you have:
Accept Any Volume = yes
in your Pool definition in bacula-dir.conf?
If you still want that to be "no" you could update the volume parameters in the
catalog. I usually mark my Full backup tapes as Full even if they aren't, after
removing the media from the changer

Hi
All,
I am
using Bacula 1.36.2:
Looking at the bacula console output, my daily differentials seem to be
referencing an old Full back up job. The line in question
reads.

I have
not been able to find the reason for this,
Isn't this what the scratch pool is for?
I have to admit that I haven't got it working yet, but I wasn't sure if the
scratch pool was one of those "Features" in the manual, that was not in the
Stable version of the bacula code.

Hi Wanderson,
Partimage is a much more "ghost like" app, and has a client server model.
Bacula could then be used to back up the filesystem containing the partimage
files. As a useful note, Knoppix has the partimage client on it.

Hi Robert,
I think the important distinction that you haven't grasped is that you can use
the same pool for multiple jobs/schedules/levels. ;0)
For instance you could just have One pool e.g. "Default" and have volumes
labeled in that pool then tell all of your jobs (WeeklyFull, DailyDifferenti
