You can write 500 files one at a time at full bandwidth each.
You mean one volume for all jobs., if not how can i achieve this for 500
volumes.

Do you have 500 tape drives? Can your backplane sustain writing to 500
files at ones at full speed?

Bacula has its own way of doing things by default, and in that way of
running Bacula, it works very well. In addition, you can *force* it to
work out of its normal design scope, and it will work, but you will have
more problems. In either creating 500 virtual devices or 1000 Pools you
