My recollection of similar problems is that I had a list of a number of allowed
connections set too low someplace, and that a connection was already happening
due to a database transaction. For example, I’d see something going on in
mysqladmin processlist that would explain what connection was p
Another point to add to the above.
If I type cancel in bconsole, it lists all the jobs already listed as cancelled
above.

Having restarted mysql and the bacula services, I was able to change the tape
and the backup on the 13th went through fine. However this morning I have found
that all the jobs were cancelled. I can certainly try pruning jobs to see if
that helps. The output I am getting from list media follows.
