Hello.
I'm trying to run Bacula on Windows XP with MySQL. When I'm trying to start
bacula-dir I got this messages in log:

Ok. I thought It succeeded the first time I did it (don't have that output).
However, when I run 'label barcodes' again it appears to error out. Issued on
both drives, Drive 2 first, since Drive 1 is currently writing. Included output
for both below just in case.
Thanks again.

Yes, I do. Though, when I try to do 'update volume' the volume doesn't appear
in this list to set to append. I was thinking that using 'label' would add the
volume to the catalog/pool. Or maybe I need to 'add' the volume to a pool or
catalog?

I have an ADIC scalar 24 autoloader with two drives. Drive 1 (/dev/st0) is
currently being written to via a bacula job. Drive2 (/dev/st1) has a volume
mounted in the drive but is not being used. Both were previously working. The
problem is that Drive 2 won't eject/unload the current volume.

Did you change the name of the catalog or change the configuration
without issuing reload in a bacula console or restarting bacula-dir?

I have a system currently being backed up and I'd like to daily perform a
restore of it's backup to a shadow system (think warm-standby).
While I guess I could rsync the appropriate dirs between the systems, is
there a way I could leverage this through a restore?
Thanks,

Can you post your bacula-dir.conf. It appears the problem is not
database connectivity but something wrong with your configuration
file.

We are running 5.03 on Ubuntu server 10.04 LTS 32 bit. Loaded from Rep

I've now installed VirtualBox on my Win7 machine, and run up a copy of
Debian, downloaded and build bacula 5.0.2. Running bat on debian (qt) works
a charm.
Selecting the Version Browser in the qt version of bat shows all the
directories and files that have been backed up. Doing the same in the

Can you make a connections to the director from bconsole?
If so, check the bat configuration file to make sure it points to the
correct director/port. Check the password as well.

Hello
I still have som problems getting Bacula-Bat working. Here is what i have
done so far:
1. Installed FreeBSD 8.0 rel
2. From the ports catalogue i have installed Gnome Lite
3. Uppgraded all the ports with CVsup
4. Then I installed Bacula 5.0.0.1 rel (with MySQL), altso from the ports
cat
I've seen quite a bit of discussion on this on the list. It seems
possible, so I figured I'd try. I'm using a combination of

and
