Hello :-)
Comparing with my working 5.0.1 equivalent, the only difference is I have
"AlwaysOpen = no" where you have "AlwaysOpen = yes;".
Does df show /mnt/backup is mounted? If so what are the user:group and
permissions on it? Which user:group is the Bacula sd running with?

Hello Martin,
One question: are you using mhvtl on daily basis on for testing purposes? I
want to use it, but i don´t see an option that allow to redirect virtual
tape contents to another folder (/opt/mhvtl is default path). That is the
reason that i can´t use it.
Regards and thanks in advance

Hi everybody
I installed the latest version of bacula (5.0.1) with bat on centos 5.4.
I was able to configure it correctly and my backup system appears to be
working correctly.
The only issue I've run into it is that I configured two different
catalogs and when I work through bconsole everythin

Hello,
I'm currently working on Bacula 5.0.1 to upgrade our current production
backup system.
We are backuping on disk files, and thus implement the auto-label feature,
using counters.
On our first tests, everything was running as planned : volumes were created
and labeled automatically, and

I think you are on your own there:
5.0.x _possibly_ works with 2.4.x FDs. Not

Yeah that should work !
Thanks !
I upgraded bacula to the 5.0.1, it seems like I can reuse a tape when Vol
Retention is exceeded (even if jobs and files retention are not exceeded).
The volume status of the tape is set to Used when the Vol retention is
reached.
I just need to create 2 pools /

Hello.
I'm using directive "Allow Higher Duplicates = no" in 5.0, but I find its
behaviour a bit false in case "Rerun Failed Levels = yes" is set - cancelled
duplicate job makes the same level to be ran again. The problematic in this
behaviour is this use-case:
1) a full job is ran
