Hey guys
i've been using bacula for some time to do file backups with no problems.
Now i am trying to do dvd backups and i've been making nice coasters.
i basically have 2 separate problems and fixing either of them would be
good, both would be perfect. i followed both dvd tutorials available and

Hello,
Would there be any indexes that could be added to the database to speed
up pruning? I just manually pruned a volume, and it seemed to take a
long time. I have never had a need to prune a volume before today, so I
can't say that I really need it to be faster. It is just a curiosity.

Good idea. i've changed that. Next backup will start tonight. i'll post an
update tomorrow morning

I could be way off base, but it looks to me as if bacula couldn't find
the binaries for the Exchange server. Make sure you add C:\Program
Files\Exchsvr\bin (or wherever the binaries reside) to your path, and
then restart the bacula client.

Hi folks,
I received a "Backup Fatal Error" report from one of my prod backups last
evening. After going through the report, I noticed the initial volume that
was being used went in Error. Bacula loaded a new volume from scratch pool,
continued with the backups and after writing less than 18GB of

Given that packages with equivalent functionality to Bacula run to at
least $30k, why would she freak?

Hi!
I'm webacula developer.
Perhaps you should contact the Samuel Rios Carvalho nhawkbr [dog]
gmail [dot] com - he is the author of docs/INSTALL.debian
PS.
webacula has its bugtracker and mailing lists.
See https://sourceforge.net/projects/webacula/ for details.

Hi
I just installed webacula on a CentOS box and was getting the same error
regarding bconsole.
Not sure if it is the same problem, but I was getting this error on the
apache logs:
sudo: sorry, you must have a tty to run sudo
So edited /etc/sudoers and commented out the following line:
#Defaul
Hi,
This device seems to require:
Hardware End Of Medium = no
BSF at EOM = yes
TWO EOF = yes
Fast Forward Space File = no
Use MTIOCGET = no
I don't know if the "MTIOCGET = no" requirement
comes from the fact that this is USB device. I didn't
have that on my older data, which was connected by
reg
Ok I have done it.
Thanks for your patience.
I put in the hosts.allow my LAN Address and all works fine. So it is problem of
rights to reach daemons on my server.
But I don't want to put in all my servers which I want to backup.
How can I solve this? Or is this just a Problem in my configuration
