Hi all,
I'm starting to work on a script to alert me to what tapes will be needed
for upcoming runs. According to the manual (I think), this info should be
shown in the "status dir" output.
Mine looks like this, and has for as long as I can remember:
*status dir

This may seem like a trivial question, but please bear with me.
On page 86, under the heading 'When The Tape Fills', we see the following:
'This indicates that Bacula got a write error bedause the tape is full. Bacula

Hello,
As you know, Russell Howe is moderating the bacula-users and bacula-devel
lists, and will let through legitimate Bacula email that is not spam. This
is a really nice service, since it does not *require* everyone to be
subscribed. However, it does take Russell's time -- so, many thanks
Hi John,
thank for your help, but it seems that I get the same problem yet. The

I cannot understain how ntbackup work and bacula does not work. If it

I am trying to get bat to run. I downloaded the depkgs-qt and followed

Greetings
I'm trying to backup a file server on a win2000sp4 machine. It is
machine in a active directory's domain.
In the domain there is this policy:
Redirect My Documents
With this policy, all my clients use the document folder over this
server instead that save files locally.

Hello *,
I have a bacula 2.0.3 doing backups on DVD. It happens that bacula asks for a
new DVD on friday at 4pm or so, no one sees the request until the next
monday, but meanwhile the watchdog kills the SD because of a timeout (more
precisely it has killed the SD at 00:39am of the night between

Thank you very much.
This solved the job issue; now I'll go a backup cycle to check if
everything is ok

Hi,
I was hoping someone had some expert advice regarding a possible Bacula
setup, in a fairly large scale - I would say Enterprise.
I have around 250+ clients with an average of 20GB per client I need to
backup. Some clients, such as mailservers, have ~110GB data in small files
and some webserve

Hi,
I am struggling to get this scenario working: 1 tape per day to store
several jobs of one day.
This is my pool configuration
Pool {
Name = MondayBisPool
Pool Type = Backup
Recycle = yes
AutoPrune = yes
Volume Retention = 12h
Use Volume Once = yes
}
There is one pool per day.

2. Goto /bacula/bacula-rescue-2.0.0
3. ./configure --with-dev
