Hi all,

I'm starting to work on a script to alert me to what tapes will be needed
for upcoming runs. According to the manual (I think), this info should be
shown in the "status dir" output.

Mine looks like this, and has for as long as I can remember:

*status dir
Automatically selected Catalog: MyCatalog
Using Catalog "MyCatalog"
devel2-dir Version: 2.0.1 (12 January 2007) i386-portbld-freebsd4.11
freebsd 4.11-RELEASE-p9
Daemon started 20-Aug-07 17:06, 85 Jobs run since started.
  Heap: bytes=175,389 max_bytes=2,870,191 bufs=976 max_bufs=995

Scheduled Jobs:
Level Type Pri Scheduled Name Volume
========================================================================
Incremental Backup 10 28-Aug-07 02:05 devel2 *unknown*
Incremental Backup 10 28-Aug-07 02:05 foobox *unknown*
Incremental Backup 10 28-Aug-07 02:05 host1 *unknown*
Incremental Backup 10 28-Aug-07 02:05 host2 *unknown*
Incremental Backup 10 28-Aug-07 02:05 host3 *unknown*

It is of course finding the right volumes when it's time for the job to
run, but I'm a bit confused as to why it can't supply the info ahead of
time. What configuration parameters might I have screwed up to break
this?

Thanks,

Charles
