With v2.0.2 on a recent Linux distro that supports SELinux, if I do a
restore from a backup, will the SELinux attributes of the files be
restored too?
Is there any connection between SELinux attributes and "aclsupport = yes" ?

The manual is big, but it is well written. I obviously need to spend

Read the Manual the recycling / pruning is quite complex read Chapter 22.
Do you have any idea of the total size of the backup?
You should get sets of disc files that are related to a backup job in
chunks of 4 GB.
There is a patch to update the maximum volume jobs so that it occurs when

Set the Pool to similar like this
Pool {
Name = Disc-Full
Pool Type = Backup
Storage = File
Recycle = yesVolumes
AutoPrune = yes
Maximum Volume Jobs = 1
Maximum Volume Bytes = 44 # Your requirement
Volume Retention = 10 days

I would like to limit the size of these storage files to, say, 4400MB,
so as to easily back them up to DVD every once in a while. (*)
What is the best way to accomplish that?

I seem to be having trouble writing large backups to tape from bacula.
It has been working just fine for months, and within the last 2-3 weeks,

Are there any reporting packages for Bacula? In particular, I'd like to
generate a list of files that were successfully backed up on a given
day. I'm sure I could poke around with some SQL and generate something
but was kinda hoping for something a little more robust than my rusty

You can, but it does not mean that you should. I've been in the same

to MySQL.

It seems that all these files are sockets. But why does this cause an
error? Shouldn't these sockets be excluded automatically by the bacula?

Hi.
I've got Bacula server 2.0.2 running on FreeBSD-6.1 and client 2.0.2 running
on Windows 2003 (with Exchange 2003). Client executes a script before job and
backs up its system state and information storage, Bacula then backs up the
folder where these backups were done into. Script terminates

Hi there,
My current bacula system (FreeBSD, bacula-2.0.1, mysql-4.1) has
currently some massive performance problems. One of the reasons i

Hi List
I need to simplify tape swapping and "the tape is full" notifications
from bacula.
To this end, I need to perform the following:
1. Have bacula automatically eject the tape when full.
