I am using v2.0.2 with pretty much default settings. Storage is on disk, Media Type = File
I would like to limit the size of these storage files to, say, 4400MB, so as to easily back them up to DVD every once in a while. (*) What is the best way to accomplish that? If I edit the Pool section and add this... Maximum Volume Bytes = 4400000000 ... would that accomplish what I want? Are the new files going to be created automatically? If yes, what would be the names of the new files? (*) - The desired process is: let Bacula archive files to the default disk-based storage based on the default WeeklyCycle schedule. Copy the whole storage to another system weekly (a cron job over NFS) just in case the main server dies. Copy the whole storage to DVD (manually) every few months, as another level of precaution. -- Florin Andrei http://florin.myip.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
