I do not believe that the label barcode works in that version of Bacula.
I have the same hardware (The VXA) running Fedora and that has never worked
for me.
I am able to label the tapes and all that jazz, but I have to add them in
before I can to an update slots.

Thanks guys... I think I know the problem when I do this command

it asks me for a password. I don't have a password set up on the bacula
database (to my knowledge)
