control.
The USB keyboard integrated in PBP is not using the standard HID
Consumer page to report brightness up/down keys, instead they are just
part of the main page. Udev on GNU/Linux systems handles that

The code received few minor improvements recently which can affect the

Hi list,
After installing and playing with OpenBSD on the Pinebook Pro for a
couple weeks, I have collected a stack of patches to improve things a
little bit. I recently published them with lots of context (that I do
not want to flood the list with) here:

This might not be an issue with any particular mirror.

Hi,
I have a PineBook Pro, and would like to install OpenBSD, but it seems I need
some help.
I don’t have another machine to write an SD card or USB drive with an installer
(I’m iOS-only currently), and with the stock Linux that came on the PineBook
Pro, I can’t connect to ftp.openbsd.org. Or

Thanks for your answer !
I must be doing something wrong... Because when using
u-boot-aarch64-2021.04/share/u-boot/pinebook-pro-rk3399/idbloader.img
and u-boot.itb from the same directory, both from the archive you've sent me, I
still get the same error during boot process.

Hello,

Hello!
Just got my Pinebook Pro. What a beauty!
And I am forced to stay at home because of SARS-COV-II/COVID-19.
This lucky coincidence is dulled by my incapability to install OpenBSD
on the Pinebook Pro.
I've tried everything I could find, from:

You'll need -current on this hardware.
. The laptop's page:
https://www.pine64.org/pinebook-pro/
dd if=miniroot66.fs of=/dev/sdb bs=1M
dd if=idbloader.img of=/dev/sdb bs=1M seek=64
minicom -D /dev/ttyUSB0 -b 150 -8
Put the sd card in, plugged in the uart cable, powered up.
I saw this (copied and pasted):
