I can only speak for the SABRE Lite and Nitrogen6x (i.MX6 based).
Those have some controller called IPU (version 3, IPUv3).
That controller needs to be supported in order to drive an LCD via LVDS.
Someone „just“ has to port it. :)
I _think_ the most work is supporting IPUv3 itself. Driving LVDS
The Cubieboard 2, SABRE Lite, and Nitrogen6X all seem to have decent
multi-core CPUs, SATA connector and LVDS support.
How much work would be involved to drive an LCD via LVDS with one of these
boards? I understand that LVDS requires different connectors and drivers
per screen.
