The Cubieboard 2, SABRE Lite, and Nitrogen6X all seem to have decent multi-core CPUs, SATA connector and LVDS support.
How much work would be involved to drive an LCD via LVDS with one of these boards? I understand that LVDS requires different connectors and drivers per screen. I'm thinking one could 3D print a case and make a home-brew ARM OpenBSD laptop :) Regards, Laurence.
