alsactl: get_controls:485: snd_ctl_open error: No such device
Can anyone enlighten me ?

HI Clemens.
Tapio Laxström, the developer of the module, found the problem.
The hardware which I have is of a newer generation than the driver
knows about - the PRODUCT_ID's didn't match.
I changed the product id to reflect the device in the emi26 driver and
now it works.
