Hello, ALL!
I have two soundcards: SB Live 5.1, SB Vibra 16X
This both cards works good, but only with ALSA.
With OSS emulation works only one card (which has index 0)
OSS mixer doesn't see my second card.
This is my /etc/modules.conf

You could try the rpms from freshrpms (see
http://freshrpms.net/docs/alsa/). I and others on the list had good
experience with these. They're

Hey all.
I just upgraded to 0.9.4, but I'm still having
problems getting my Extigy to work.
The modules load fine, but when I run alsamixer I get
this error:
alsamixer: function snd_mixer_load failed: Invalid

Any idea why?

Has anyone had success in doing this? If so how do you do it?
I can only get a stereo output via SPDIF. Xine does have some default
alsa a52 parameters but I don't know whether I need to change them.
Thanks

Anyone got a working multi channel set up for this card with alsa?
I've got a cheap set of 5.1 speakers (Creative Inspire 5300) and using
the oss drivers and emu-tools I've managed to get all three output
channels (center/sub, front left/right, rear left/right) working like a

I have built the file at the bottom based on examples. I would like to
